Veterans Day 2010 with Bob Tonsetic

Casemate author Bob Tonsetic (DAYS OF VALOR and FORSAKEN WARRIORS) had the privilege of attending the Veterans Day Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery with many active duty service members and members of Veterans Service organizations, from World War II all the way through to Afghanistan.  The Legion of Valor of the United States, of which Bob is a member, was the sponsoring Veteran’s Service Organization for this year.

Vice President Biden laid the Wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns and delivered the Veterans Day address in the amphitheater. Secretary Shinseki, Department of Veterans Affairs, was also on the platform and introduced the VP.

Bob reports that the weather was perfect for a mid-November day, and the Vice President’s speech was very appropriate for the occasion.

Look for Bob Tonsetic’s new Casemate title  in the Fall of 2011.
