Casemate Publishers had a fantastic time at Military History Weekend in Williamsburg, Virginia this past weekend. There were a lot of familiar faces to see as well as new attendees that were able to discover the wonderful novelties that the show had to offer. From miniature soldiers dressed in military garb, armed in combat and built with astonishing precision…to books on how to build your own scale model and strategize while wargaming…there really was a great deal to see and take in over the course of the weekend!
As well as being a presence at the show, Casemate also had the opportunity of being a sponsor as we have done in previous years. We had the exciting opportunity of holding two author signings for two of Casemate’s New Releases, one being with our veteran author, Bob Tonsetic with his latest book, Special Operations in the American Revolution. We also had the pleasure of meeting Dick Camp, a new author to Casemate who has recently published Assault from the Sky about the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam. Both authors had a chance to speak on their topics of research, experiences and writings at a formal dinner held after the show on Saturday.
Overall, this was another great experience for Casemate Publishers at MHW and we hope that you will come and visit us next year. To keep up to date on the MHW 2014, visit their facebook page here. Check out some great pictures from this past weekend…and we hope to see you soon at Fall-In! 2013 at The Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center November 15th-17th!
