Leading Specialist Publisher and Distributor Records Over 100% Sales Increase
As mentioned by industry bibles The Bookseller and BookBrunch, Casemate UK, specialist publisher and distributor of military history and art books, has bucked the economic downturn by more than doubling its sales turnover in its first three years of operation.
Since July 2007, when Mark Wray, together with David Farnsworth and Casemate Publishers in the USA, took over the Greenhill Books/Chatham Publishing distribution operation from Lionel Leventhal Ltd, Casemate UK has gone from strength to strength.
Now with 35 distribution clients on the company’s books, an impressive 20 of which have been added following the take over, Casemate UK has achieved a staggering 105% increase in sales in its first three years.

Casemate UK is therefore delighted to announce the addition of two highly prestigious publishing companies to its list of distribution clients; Histoire & Collections from Paris and Editions Heimdal from Bayeux in Normandy. Histoire & Collections books will be available from the beginning of November and Editions Heimdal books will be available in October. Both publishers are two of the world’s foremost authorities on military history.
With the addition of Histoire & Collections and Editions Heimdal to the Casemate line up, further significant growth is forecast for the company by the end of 2011. This achievement is also a reflection of the company’s continuing commitment to both customer and client—to provide an informed, enthused and supportive business operation, whilst aggressively seeking new opportunities for expansion, development and promotion.
